Benton Construction was selected to build a 95′ tall air traffic control tower for the Virgin Islands Port Authority.  This uniquely shaped structural steel framed building includes an interior triangular staircase and roped hydraulic elevator.  The exterior facade is composed of factory insulated metal panels with integral windows and louvers.  The control cab was designed with an unobstructed 360º view and 1″ thick impact glass with retractable solar shades.
