Christiansted Boardwalk Renovation

The iconic Christiansted Boardwalk was in desperate need of repair and replacement after damage from several tropical storms and hurricanes, as well as many years of exposure to the harsh salt and sun conditions. J. Benton was selected to remove and replace 25% of the structural framing and the entire Boardwalk surface with composite decking, as well as perform numerous concrete structural repairs and site improvements. The project was completed in half the contracted time while maintaining access to the docks, marinas, dockside restaurants and shops for pedestrians.
