VI Department of Education, Temporary Facilities

After being hit by two category five hurricanes in 2017, schools territory wide were partially closed until temporary facilities could be completed. J. Benton assisted the VI Department of Education (VIDE) on five separate campuses to complete the facilities. This consisted of site grading, formwork, rebar installation, underground utilities, assembly and erection of a sprung structure and a lighting interior fit-out. Work began in August of 2018 and was at 95% completion in December 2018 at which time children were able to return to their schools.
