Cecy Castruccio-DeReu

Cecy is a long-time resident of St. Croix, moving here in 1971 when her father retired from the US Navy. She left to complete her education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA graduating Magna Cum Laude in Business Administration with concentrations in Corporate Finance and Accounting in 1986. After a successful career in the Hampton Roads area as a Controller / Financial Manager, she returned to her island home in 2000. Here she has served as a “Controller For Hire” to a variety of businesses. In 2006, she became Director of Finance with full responsibility for planning, directing, and controlling financial, human resources and administrative functions. When not working, she enjoys sailing and sailed for Old Dominion University in two Women’s National Championships and competed in two Rolex Women’s International Women’s Championships.
